Pictures

These are some pictures from the shutterfly site we started to store all of our images. You can find us at maitlandfamilystory.shutterfly.com . Because these images take up so much space on my computer, I don't save them, but instead upload them directly to shutterfly. So I don't really have the chance to weed through them all that much before posting them there. I think what I will do is post the really good ones here on the blog, but use the shutterfly site to save them all. There will be alot of pictures there!! If you don't have time to look at them all, just check here.

We are in Columbia, SC right now, celebrating the Savior with our family. I will post more on this later so that right now I can be present with family, but I just want to say that we are so thankful for this gift of Life-- God who took on flesh and tabernacled among us.

I got a new camera!!!

My Mom and Dad bought me a camera for Christmas. I am so thankful for it; it takes beautiful pictures. I am excited about preserving the moments of our family's life through the lens of this camera. Years from now it will be so precious to have these visual reminders of who we were and what we were going through at this time.

Our dear friends, Bryce, Emily, and Piper Hambelton, came all the way from Portland to spend some time with us. It has been so refreshing to be with them and share life. They know us well and we are so alike. They are precious people.

Here are some of the pictures I have taken as I am just learning the ropes with this camera. There will be alot more to come, along with a link for my flickr photostream.
