These are just a couple of my favorites from the wedding I shot on September 4th. Austin and Amanda put together a lovely event from beginning to end, and I am so glad they wanted me to be part of it :) Not only was the wedding beautiful, but it was so much fun. I loved that this wedding was a celebration; you just got the sense that these two people loved life and were excited to begin their marriage. Trevor and I love these two and are so thrilled for them. You can see a few more of the pictures here and here

I am blogging from Littleton, Colorado. I flew here yesterday for School of Theology, and will be joining with friends to drive to Winter Park later today. This is a big shift of gears for me, friends. I went from going full throttle to being alone and away from my work. I am doing some thinking this week about my life and what my plans are... I know for sure that I am going to cut back. I thought I would wait until after the baby is born, but I am seeing that I need to start now. I have some loose ends to finish when I get back into town, and will still be doing some photography, but I need to make some changes. I love my work, but it is starting to take over my life and I am unbalanced. I feel in some ways like life is passing me by.
This week will be about meeting with God, friends, his Book, rest, and being outside in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I'll be blogging about the week when I have time, and sharing some photos. Bye for now, sweet friends.

  2. I had to do this a few months ago...I tell anyone getting into photography that it is addicting and if not used with self control, it can easily consume you. Your pictures turned out lovely and I hope you have a wonderful time in Colorado learning and immersing yourself in God's Word.
