We went on a little family date tonight and had the best time. We haven't been out to Trappeze in forever, seriously it has been way too long. Chalk it up to pregnancy, I guess. I really have been kind of a hermit this go round. No fun. I can't wait to do this as a family of four :)
Larken and I are almost 30 weeks in. Getting closer. I really need to get that nursery together.
Thank you everyone for your encouragement about my plans. There is so much to look forward to in our lives. Trevor sent in his application to the Colorado state public defender's office. So now we wait. In the meantime, we apply to every county in the state of Georgia (basically), and make lists of any other city we would like to live in. This part has been fun. If you have a recommendation or live in a super cool town, please send it on down.
Hope you all have an awesome weekend and enjoy this beautiful weather.
xo

Good luck. I know that God has amazing plans for your family and for Trevor professionally. This is truly a vocation, a calling, for him, and I know that Trevor will do amazing things as a PD. I'm quite frankly jealous.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't suggest it's a cool place to live, but how about Montgomery? I'd love to have ya'll near us again!
Amanda Kay, that is an excellent suggestion, and I have made a note on our list :) Thanks so much for seeing the awesomeness that is my husband. It means alot that you recognize that calling in him. Love you.
ReplyDeleteyou know where i vote! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are always so lovely and inspiring! And it certainly doesn't hurt that you have such lovely subjects!
ReplyDeleteAs for a cool city, I was going to suggest Portland, OR, but saw y'all moved from there. Would you ever consider moving back? My husband and I love to visit that city as much as we can!
You guys are beautiful, and you're a fabulous photographer. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll put one in for Nashville :)

Well, I just started following your blog, so I barely know you, but we live in Norfolk, Virginia and really love it here. The Tidewater of VA is surrounded by water (oceanfront is 30 minutes, Chesapeake Bay 15) and just a few hours from the mountains. Norfolk is definitely up and coming in the cool-factor. When we moved here from San Diego 8 years ago, we never thought we'd be as happy as we are. Best of luck on your journey!
ReplyDeleteI love your new path, how much you openly love Jesus and how fresh and free you are trying to live. xxoo
ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I just moved to Minneapolis about 3 months ago and we LOVE it. The area around our church is the most ethnically diverse in the whole country. There are tons of farmers markets, craft fairs, fun restaurants and places to shop. And we go to a great church! :) Not sure if I'll recommend it after winter comes... but for now, we love it!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and beautiful pictures!
oh my goodness, what a truly STUNNING place you have created here. Beautiful blog, beautiful you (honestly, could you be any more attractive?!).
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted to have found you, a fellow mother, wife, blogger, Jesus walker. I think i'll be inspired if I stick around, so I will!
